Bush peace doctrine killed 500,000 children in Iraq

(November 25, 2003) To express grief on the killing of millions of innocent people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Kashmir a demonstration was organized on the last day of Ramadan (CHAAND RAAT). The demonstration was organized by Insan Foundation-Pakistan at Model Town Park Lahore. People were holding candles to reflect their love and solidarity for the survivors and the relatives of dead in the countries which have been attacked in the name of “War against Terror”. Some people were also holding placards with slogans against American and Israeli barbarianism that has brought globe at the verge of disastrous collapse. Placards said “the Eid Moon is dipped in Blood”, “Bush peace doctrine killed 500,000 children in Iraq” and “How can we smile on this Eid?”

The demonstrators said that on the Eid day they would not forget sufferings of other human beings on this earth, especially the plight caused by so called Superpower of the day.
